This script is no longer maintained. I’ve left this post here for those that may wish to improve on my previous work.
So…I play runescape, and I discovered the wonder program RSBot. It’s written in Java, as is RuneScape itself. It allows you to bot your character when doing repetitive tasks, like cutting trees, killing cows, mining essence, etc.
Here is a script I’m maintaining for killing cows.
I’m no longer providing a .jar, because the script is now in Powerbot’s SDN.
Script is autoupdating. It will only look for updates when you tell it to do so from the GUI at the start. If there’s an update available, it will again ask you if you wish to download it.
You are always free to manually update, and the code is available for your inspection from the first link above. Just open it in a text-editor.
This link is for the latest version, 3.33, of the script. You need RSBot v.2.52+ to compile this script.
If you’re here from the PB forums, feel free to comment/post here. Note that I have to approve all postings, because otherwise this place would be a pit-o-spam, so if your comments don’t appear right away, that’s why. I check regularly, but you can also PM me in PB forums as well if I seem a bit slow.

Does the bot eat the cooked meat to keep you alive? Im kinda low lvl and need some cash so this would be a nice way
whenever i tell the bot to bank all drops, it keeps trying to pick up the drops even when the inventory is full, can you fix it?
Do you know of a way to bank the bones but not bury them? I don’t want to get my prayer up but the bones are worth pretty good money.
When I run the script it run but clicks on the minimap in the top right corner where the minimap is and it says “Status: Attacking” but doesnt click on the cow and below it says Destination is: null.
Does it use the dwarf multicannon?
Dude im trying to run this script trough the rsbot client and it goes smooth and all then when i click “LETS KILL COWS!!” or somthing like that it goes like,”script started running” and 1 seconed later it goes “script stopped running” why?
I’m not currently supporting this, and I’m sure since the bot has been updated several times, the script is buggy. You can, of course, learn Java and fix it yourself.
No. I’m not supporting the script(s) at the moment, at some future date I might begin debugging this, but not now.
